TRAUMA HEALING
for the Mind, Body, and Spirit
-
Trauma creates an injury to the spirit.
Repairing this wound allows us to remember how to feel deeply connected to ourselves, the Earth, and those around us.
Healing is possible when we are able to practice living in alignment with our values, find refuge in community and relationships, and rediscover who we are and who we can still be.
-
Trauma healing happens in phases.
In the beginning, we need space and support to make sense of our experiences. We need to learn strategies to embody our emotional experience and find balance in movement. As we travel along the trajectory of healing, we reach critical junctures when insight alone is not enough.
At this stage we need to more actively bridge the gap between our internal and external world, our beliefs and our practices, who we are at the core and what we believe about ourselves.
Different cycles of healing require different types of support.
-
Psychotherapy is most effective in our early work with trauma processing, though we may find ourselves back in that "beginning" at different phases of life.
Individual somatic and intuitive sessions offer support for those who are already in therapy, have completed therapy, or are not interested in therapy. They are personalized forms of guided inquiry for the body and spirit.
My groups and workshops weave together energy healing, trance techniques, intuitive dialogue, creative process, ritual, and compassionate witnessing to hold space for those in the process of learning to thrive. This is a space where we can practice in the support of community.
-
I especially welcome those who hold space for others. Whether you are a therapist, coach, energy healer, or caring for those close to us, it is vitally important to tend to your needs as well. We cannot give from an empty cup— my offerings are a place to be nurtured, and tend to your mind, body, and spirit.
