INWARD VISION:

a Trauma Recovery Workbook

Trauma creates an injury to the spirit, and fractures our sense of connection to ourselves and others.

This workbook aims to support you in developing the awareness, insight, tolerance, and curiosity that is needed to return to your core self.

Informed by attachment theory, somatic practices, mindfulness, energy psychology, Ericksonian hypnosis, and over ten years providing trauma-focused psychotherapy, this workbook will guide you through a series of prompts, creative practices, and explorations in body awareness. Woven throughout the workbook is the role of energy in your experience. This approach to recovery emphasizes the importance of cultivating of self-love and self-compassion, and finding refuge in the interconnectedness of all things.

Inward Vision is about the ability to see clearly, to acknowledge what we don’t know, to distinguish past from present, and to open our minds to the many futures that could still be. The unique venues of the mind, body, and spirit are explored individually, allowing you to better differentiate your thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and existential yearnings— and choose a practice that best fits what you need in that moment. As you move through the prompts you will understand your story in new ways, contemplate areas in your life that are asking for change, and explore what healing may look like for you.
